Personal Victory.

And no, not that I cleaned by bathroom shower for the first time in weeks! Officially, we went an entire week without eating out. It may not sound like much to all of you regular chefs, but to us it is big deal. Especially lately, it seems like we have been on the road and just too lazy (me) to cook. We had been eating out a lot, which is natural when there are no groceries in the house! So we made a goal, hit costco and have been cooking every meal since. It actually feels really good, so I thought I'd share our small, but personal victory.

Hello, Sarah!
What a fun little reunion! You and Mike look great and can I just say your kids are adorable!? I hope you are surviving the Arizona summer! And good job on the cooking - I think it is extra hard during the summer to make meals everyday!

I work in a restuarant and that is our daily life. Its either here or there. Yes I know how to cook but wisely choose other options.

Awesome job! I think that is a huge accomplishment. At least it would be for me these days. Pass some recipes down my way, would ya. I'm bored with what I've been serving and James doesn't go back to nights for another 3 months!

Hi Sarah! I stumbled on your blog while looking for other scrapbookers with blogs and let me just tell you that I totally know what a victory cooking at home can be! I am recently married and cooking is my least favorite thing in the world (it even beats out laundry, ironing, and windows!). So congratulations! That's quite a feat. -Sharon
