HAPPY BDAY TO MY LOVE!!!!***FROM MIKE

For Sarah's bday I'd love if everyone could comment and write what you admire most about her. Thanks!!

Sar, I know you are reading this and rolling your eyes. But, the best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me. I love you....Mike

ooh ooh ooh. Well, Sara I haven't seen you in a few years, but one thing that I always admired about you when we were roomates was your ability to be friends with anyone. You could relate so easily to people and you were a fabulous listener. Ahh the days of Brookside. Ha ha ha. Love you.
Happy Birthday

Way to go Mike...that is one sweet post! Happy Birthday Sarah!!
You have been such a sweet friend to me. I'll never forget you showing up on my doorstep with homemade soup when I had the stomach flu. I truly admire your thoughtfulness. Hope you have a great birthday!

What I admire about this girl? How long you got?
For starters, she gave us Payt & Syd & Avery. And that of course called for the good sense to catch Mikey.

jpr said...

But then she's always been exceptionally smart. Could recite all of mother goose before she was two. She'd finish one nursery rhyme and then say to me, "what else I know, dad?"

jpr said...

And inquisitive? Ya, she'd sit between her mother and me in the car (before car seats were invented) and look out the window at the world and say things like, "tell me about the clouds, dad."

jpr said...

Oh ya, I forgot. She was born on a father's day, my first and best father's day gift to-date. Plus, we won a $10 roast (beef) donated by the Teton Valley Cowbells! and got our picture in the Teton Valley News!

I admire her caring and tenderness--as a daughter, a mother, a nurse. When she was little, the tears would begin long before we began saying our goodby's to grandma and grandpa. I guess she got her tender heart from her grandfather Moulton (through her mom) because it was just as difficult for him to say goodbye as it was for her.

jpr said...

I mentioned good sense. She's always been prudent and cautious. As a toddler she was always extra careful when stepping from linoleum to carpet.

And singing, can't forget singing. I admire Sarah's love and appreciation of the power of music. And so many venues: Carnegie Hall (twice), Rome, Florence, Jacob's Ranch at Island Park, family reunions, and many more. I hope she knows how much sweeter life is because she sings!

When Sarah got home from New York with the children's choir (age 12?), they had stayed up so many hours site-seeing without sleep that her eyes were welded shut the next morning and her mom let her stay home from school.

29 wonderful years. I'm still baffled how I got such a wonderful daughter. Then I remember her wonderful mother.
And what a lucky man I am. Happy Birthday Essie girl. I love you much.

Bonus points for mike... and did he just make that up or is he some kind of closeted writer/poet. Very sweet Mike.

Sarah, you always come up with the best "details" like if there is a party the cake will have a little "something special" on the top that you just come up with. I LOVE being creative but I am in awe when I come to something you do and see the little touches you include. Just awesome and inspiring.

Happy, Happy B-day!

I admire lots about you but the one thing I do is that you are so friendly and sweet to everyone around you. You are a great person and I know a great mom. Your kids are so cute! Take care! Happy Birthday!!!

Always a beauty in junior high and high school (which is when I knew the girl best), her beauty has come even deeper, lovelier ... as she has so flawlessly become a devoted, amazing, selfless mother. She's more beautiful than ever before.

I love Sarah's sense of self. Her strength in convictions. Her laugh. A dash of fiestiness that comes every once in awhile. Her ability to be a good friend.

And I love these comments from you dad, Sarah. I hope you had a wonderful 29th birthday!

Mikey knows how lucky he is to find such a wonderful wife! Essie your kindness and love and talents are beyond words. I remember when nedder Pop clapped for you after you sang in church, I think the whole chapel should have stood up with a standing "O" I know we all wanted to! Can't wait to see you and those those Commandos! Hope you had a wonderful birthday.

Love, Pop

Billions and billions of things to love about my Sarah. I think I will sum it up by saying that Sarah is all heart. Everything she does is driven by love.

And can I just say that you have the sweetest dad. That uncle James is one phenomenal guy.

Sarah has always been the cousin that I look up to, and who I wanted to be like (and still do). She is always so sweet and loving. I love you Sarah, and hope you had a happy birthday. - Caroline

Oh my!! I wrote your birthdate down at work no less than 50 times...and each time I would think " it is Sarah and Andrew's birthday, I will text a message later". Later came and went and I forgot! Can you ever forgive me? You hold a sweet spot in my heart! I have been lucky enough to watch you grow from a darling brown eyed little girl to a beautiful, accomplished young wife and mother. I love you Sarah! Aunt Nae

Wow! Happy Birthday Sarah!!! I think I admire you most for your positive outlook on life. It's been years since I've seen you, but even in nursing school you were always positive! Thank you for your amazing example!!

Man- Mikey the poet! Did you look that up online Mike? Poetry.com? ;)

Ohhhhh man. I don't really know where to start on my love for Sarah. Sarah you are SMART and WITTY and just as MEEK and LOVING. You are an amazing mother- I truly admire the relationship you have with your kids- your babies are not amazing for no good reason- they are amazing because they have wonderful parents. You are the perfect wife for Mike- so mellow and so even, nurturing, yet strong. I have said this to Dallas in quiet conversations- you are truly one of the people that I know that I could really benefit from being more like you. And I mean that!

Loves.

wow, Mike...pretty deep...not sure if you thought that up or if it came from a Hallmark card?

I love the good laughs that Sarah shares. She can perfectly describe a situation with words AND make any situation exciting, funny and an adventure....like hailing a bus in Mexico, riding on a bus in Mexico, eating lots of carbs and enjoying them, stopping in on a wedding...etc. and so forth.

Also, she sure can carry a tune. I remember sitting by Sarah in church while singing the hymns and pretending her voice was mine...in a non-covetness way of course. :)

Muchi Muchi Happy Birthday!!

WAIT! I'm so behind! I'm so sorry! I have a good excuse but there really is no excuse for missing your bday!
I admire too much about you Sarah! You are first off an amazing mother. You love your children so much and treat them so great. You have it all together, at least it seems like it to me. But I truly love how genuine you are to everyone. You are such a sweetheart and I feel so blessed to call you my friend! Happy Belated Bday! Love you!
